Assalamualaikum ya muslimin wa mukminat. Sorry for the delay in posting. Alhamdulillah without realizing we already go through the new year, the year of 2014. With the advent of the new year, this migration is more meaningful to seek the pleasure of Allah. So without wasting more time, I wanted to share about this entry topic.
Who knows the things that you and I have done wrong except ourselves and Allah? There’s a lot of things in our closet that Allah has not exposed. After you commit a sin, Allah veils your wrongdoings. It’s like when you throw something onto sand and over time it’s been covered. Why then would you go out of your way to dig up that buried item and make it apparent when Allah has kept it private for you?
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "My entire nation is safe, except al-Mujahirin (those who boast of their sins). Among the Mujaharah is that a man commits an (evil) act, and wakes up in the morning while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret, he says: “O Fulan! Last night I did this and that.” He goes to sleep while Allah has kept his (sin) a secret but he wakes up in the morning and uncovers what Allah has kept a secret!” [Sahih al-Bukhari]
Umar Ibn al-Khattab (radiyallahu anhu) said: 'Allah had kept your secret, why did not you keep your secret?'[Sharh Muslim]
